BEST PRACTICES

One of our best practices we carried out was having weekly discussion meetings via Zoom to discuss the progress of the project’s tasks. Having frequent meetings helped in many ways as we learnt how to incorporate teamwork and discipline among ourselves.

The most important process we learnt is setting goals, targets and mini datelines as this helps maintain the flow of the project. Furthermore, we learnt that healthy communication among group members consist of compromise and being open-minded to different opinions.

One of the process that we implemented during the meeting was dividing our group members into the field execution team and the social media team. This was to divide the tasks according to everyone’s strength, talent and availability. We still helped, assist and supported each other throughout this process as we constantly encouraged each other to do the best.

Moreover, the ultimate process and practice we incorporated was when we approached many frontliners and established healthy communication. It made them smile and made their day. On top of that, providing them gift bags made them feel loved and appreciated.

After hearing their stories, we can conclude that the true heroes of this pandemic are our frontline workers: doctors, nurses, aids, ambulance drivers, food delivery riders, security guards and so on. This pandemic has taught us how dedicated and valuable they are to us. Let us not forget this because in nine months or two years, they will still be just as dedicated and valuable.
