Key Accomplishments

The biggest strength our group had was teamwork as we all worked together and managed to go out to do volunteering despite the COVID-19 pandemic. We faced many obstacles particularly when looking for frontliners as most places did not allow us to distribute due to the MCO. For instance, some places like hospitals did not allow us to distribute without a permission letter from the higher department and this required a lengthy process. However, we managed to gather and find frontliners outside.  

 

Our biggest accomplishment is having international students in our group to distribute gift bags to frontliners in Bangladesh and Kuwait. This shows that we can show our gratitude to frontliners no matter where you are and overcome obstacles. Moreover, we received positive feedback from frontliners and amazing responses on our social media pages. We also gained many likes and followers on Facebook and Instagram. 

 

One of the most effective tools we used was creating personalised quote stickers and hand-written letters. One of our teammates is very handy in designing homemade coffee/tea mugs. Hence, she created personalised coffee/tea mugs to be given as gifts to frontliners. We received amazing feedback from frontliners who received these deliverables.  

 

To conclude, we were very satisfied with the quality of the products as we carefully chose and made these goodies with the utmost love and care. We are also very satisfied with the outcome of the project. In the future, we want to show more encouragement to do more for frontliners such as fundraising and giving away food.
